Finding our way is changing. While some of us still like a paper map, if only for the bigger picture, many people prefer to just listen to a navigation app and drive where they are told. You can recycle old maps in the yellow bin, but they can also become intriguing gift wrap or the star ingredient of craft projects (see Pinterest for ideas). And some maps are actually valuable to an organisation. The National Parks and Wildlife Service of NSW recently welcomed donation of a 1970s tourist map of the Royal National Park for their archives. It's worth thinking about who could repurpose that map you no longer need!
